MMJ Wollongong Aquathon has been offering a professionally run, community and charity supporting event that continues to be the best swim-run in Australia since 1999!

We aim to provide a professional, safe and fun event that supports charities and the local community.

Entry fees include a professionally run event in a stunning harbour setting—with a festive atmosphere and participant-focused extras that make it exceptional value for money.

2027 ENTRY FEES TBA BY 1 SEPTEMBER 2026

  • Entry opens 1st October 2027.
  • Minimal ages apply- refer to each ‘event page’ table.
  • Fees are time based with discounts the earlier you register.
  • By entering you are aware of and accept ALL terms and conditions with a strict non -refund policy in case of event cancellation. 
  • Entry insurance does not cover accident insurance. You are strongly encouraged to have your own private medical insurance.
  • Age discounted fees apply for kids (u18) and adults 65 years+
  • Family discount: In addition aquathon offers a further 12% off for 3+ family entries aquathon or fun run. Max 2 adults and children must be U18. Use CODE: AQUAFAM27
  • Mandatory Triathlon Australia One Day Licence & Insurance fees:
    – Kids Aqua: Included $0
    – Mini-Short-Long Aqua $4.50 (teams count as one entry),
    – Fun Run $2

2027 MMJ Aquathon Event Terms & Conditions

ATHLETE MEDICAL WITHDRAWALS  

Individuals and teams.

If you cannot participate in the event for medical reasons, partial entry fee refunds are available in accordance with the below stated Athlete Medical Withdrawal policy only. After the stipulated dates, entry fees are non-refundable for medical withdrawals initiated by the athlete.  

Partial refunds will only be issued for the entry fee where participation in the event is not appropriate due to medical reasons. 

Where eligible, please allow up to 30 business days for your refund to be processed. The refund is automatically issued to the credit card originally used to pay for the registration. If this card has since been cancelled or has expired, it is the athlete’s responsibility to notify our customer service team when requesting the eligible refund.

Without exception, all requests must be received on or before the below dates to be eligible for withdrawal options. All requests must be received in writing via e-mail to

Withdrawal requests must be received through the official withdrawal process, during the following time frames in order to be eligible. 

Requests made before 14 December 2026, 11:59pm (AEST) 

  • Withdrawal for medical reasons 
  • 50% of the entry fee 
  • Non-medical withdrawal 
  • 25%

Requests made after 14 December 2026, 11:59pm (AEST) 

  • Withdrawal for medical reasons 
  • No refund 
  • Non-medical withdrawal 
  • No refund 

Please Note: Athletes who have transferred or deferred into this race, or entered through the use of an event credit, promo entry, or complimentary entry (100% discounted), are not eligible to receive any partial refund of the registration fee under this Athlete Withdrawal Policy.
